This Fishing guide will demonstrate everything you may need to pick up MapleStory 2 Fishing Proficiency.
MapleStory 2 is filled with plenty of intriguing quests and one of the most adorable is fishing. Let's move on to how you should begin with your fishing journey in MapleStory 2. The first thing you need to prepare is a fishing rod.
There is no doubt that you must have yourself a fishing rod before getting started on fishing. The approach to acquiring a fishing pod is progressing in the side quest or buying one from a Fishing Supplies Dealer in Tria or Evansville.
After that it's pretty simple, just looking for some water area and double-click on it after outfitting with the fishing rod. Using your keyboard keys to plot where you prefer to throw the bait and finally pressing the space bar casts your rod.
Once a fish bites your bait, you must keep tapping the spacebar so that the fish stays in the twinkling area until the meter fills up.
If you prefer doing this automatically than fishing manually, you can unlock and apply auto-fishing option by purchasing merits or coupons.
Finding places to fish is fairly simple, you just need to find ample pools of water. Other than that you can fish in lava, venom and oil too. Some dungeons too have special fish that you can’t get anywhere else so you should definitely be casting you rod any and everywhere you can.
Fishing Master regulates what kinds of fishes and items players can garner. The below chart is the full tier of Fishing Master levels:
| Fishing Mastery Level | Fishing Mastery Value |
|---|---|
| Beginner I | 0 |
| Beginner II | 80 |
| Beginner III | 160 |
| Beginner IV | 240 |
| Intermediate I | 320 |
| Intermediate II | 400 |
| Intermediate III | 480 |
| Intermediate IV | 560 |
| Advanced I | 640 |
| Advanced II | 720 |
| Advanced III | 800 |
| Advanced IV | 880 |
| Master | 1,000 |
MapleStory 2 Fishing Guide: Earning Fishing Master Points
Fishing Master Points are earned by catching a fish you haven't caught before. How many points you get vary by what rank the fish you caught up is. The points you will get are:
Points are also gained by fishing in areas that match your current Fishing Master level. Whenever your level goes up the amount of fish you need to catch goes up by 2, so it's better to fish in high-rank areas.
Prize Fishes are also valuable as they bring you points identical to what you will get from catching a fish for the first time.
Below is the number of points you can get by catching new fish divided by level:
| Fishing Mastery Level | Total Points |
|---|---|
| Beginner I | 56 |
| Beginner II | 26 |
| Beginner III | 28 |
| Beginner IV | 34 |
| Intermediate I | 46 |
| Intermediate II | 40 |
| Intermediate III | 54 |
| Intermediate IV | 50 |
| Advanced I | 50 |
| Advanced II | 82 |
| Advanced III | 68 |
| Advanced IV | 68 |
| Total | 602 |
Since there are 1,000 total points to obtain, players will need to get 398 more points after catching all the fishes for the first time.
You can find locations to every single fish here.

How will you prep up for upcoming Dungeon Conquest without requisite equipment? Don't worry about that, here is a cure for all your troubles. MMOAH.com has been dedicated to the MS 2 Mesos' transactions for months since it had been released. And Prove himself as one of the cheapest product on the market when it comes to MapleStory 2 Mesos. Not only the product itself seduced thousands of players placing their orders on the website, but the service, especially the delivery of its products intrigued more and won against other companies. MMOAH is definitely the best place to buy MapleStory 2 Mesos. Need some, purchase now from here.
It has officially been nearly two months since Maplestory 2 launched back on October 1. At this point and time, we're pretty positive that many gamers are already shifting to Raids Conquest at max level 60. Although, if you’re a veteran that has been playing since its predecessor, we all know that one character in the game just isn’t enough. So here are some tips on how to level fast in Maplestory 2!
For real, though. Don’t leave your main quests behind. The main quest reward gives so much EXP that you can make it to level 50 easily in approximately eight hours. If you’re levelling a second character, it should go even faster. Just ignore all the dialogue and cutscenes. Make sure to not get sidetracked by side quests! Plenty of chances, later on, to get back and finish them if you are still curious about the story. Side quests are mostly intriguing and memorable stories so you wouldn't miss out much by focusing on the main story.
You can’t do this next bit if it is your first character. But if you happen to be levelling an alt, dump those Rotor Walkie Talkies into the Goldus Bank chest. This will make your alts move faster as they go from one place to another while completing quests. Alternatively, if you wanna reserve those tickets then just take the Taxi – Mesos in on the table and you have to pay for your ride. Other than Walkie Talkies, you could also pass your alt a fast mount from your main account. Anything that can give it a little boost, really.
Level 50 ~ 60
You would assume that the last ten levels are the hardest, on the contrary, it’s surprisingly easy. At this point, you’ll be out of main quests. Is this where we give in to side quests? Absolutely not. This is where your Life Skills come in handy since they give flat EXP.
It’s a common sense in MapleStory 2 that once you get your first performing sheet from the quest NPC, you don’t exploit it on manual performance. It's proved that you will work well with the exception of those for the quest. This is because if you perform manually, it consumes the sheet usage amount. However, if switched to via auto-perform, the usage amount will not be consumed. So once you get to 50, pop that auto-perform 30-minute / 1-hour ticket and you’ll be level 60 in no time.
Other than performing, fishing is also an excellent choice to help you level faster despite it being slightly complicated. It’s totally a waste of using auto-fish ticket from beginner level. Ranking fishing skill up is not the same either. It’s a whole lot to get into so I won’t but if I do, it has to be an isolated guide. If you don’t mind spending some extra hours to your brief process, manually get your fishing level to Intermediate then auto-fish from there.
So how do you decide which one today? Simple – check the top left of your screen and look at the ticker. If it’s double EXP day for performing, then perform and if it's not, then don't.
You could solo-quest this but join a party or a team would be better. It's your call now though, it’s just faster with a party and that’s the point of this guide, yeah? Currently, World Bosses give ~15% EXP at level 50. So if you’re down to channel quest and hunt for bosses or is simply just out of auto-tickets, you could opt to do this. Maplestory 2 wiki has the respective spawn time of bosses for anyone to check upon. Here’s the list of World Bosses. Make sure you’re killing those on the list and not Elite Bosses.
That’s it! There is no biggie to level in MapleStory 2. But there are always some other methods to boost yourself fast in MapleStory 2. For example, if your main has Rank 4 Cooking, Pine Mushroom Stew gives 50% EXP boost for 2-hours. But since the principle here is following through the simplest and fastest, so it’s really just – do your main quests then auto-ticket life skill your way to 60. Personally, from 50 to 60, I left my Priest to smash tunes (auto-perform) for 6-hours and when I woke up from a nap, it was 60 already.
If you’re not in 60 level yet, Chaos Raids will not open up for you and you will definitely miss out the fascinating hard fights with Dungeon Bosses.
What if you spend too much Mesos in the middle of boosting into Max Level? What happened if you find yourself lacking Mesos after you reach the Max Level? How will you prep up for upcoming Dungeon Conquest without requisite equipment? Don't worry about that, here is a cure for all your troubles - MMOAH. MMOAH.com has been dedicated to the MapleStory 2 Mesos' transactions for months since it had been released. Still, MapleStory was one of the most popular MMOs of the 2000s even though lacking raid functionality itself. Now, as the direct sequel of MapleStory, MapleStory 2 has eventually infused the long-appealed element into the game. Fire Dragon is one of the inserted raids that has been hot off the press. The name pretty much speaks for itself, so cut the cackle, here are all the essential tips to help you break down the boss and earn yourself substantial MapleStory 2 Mesos.
Before confronting the vicious Fire Dragon, there are a few things you should be fully aware of. First would be the type of pet you'll bring along. We highly recommend you choose the ones that spit out auto potions so that you can totally get rid of the dirty work. Also, make sure that your settings are lag-free, as a single second or millisecond can spell a huge catastrophe in the middle of a siege. Finally, keep track of your priest's locations any time so you'll know exactly where to go once you find yourself in a tight spot.
Now that you're all prepared for final battle, it's onto the raid proper. Firstly, there are ledges you can use to dodge some of the Fire Dragon's thump. You will survive on those ledges every time the Dragon is after you. Other than being prompt enough to evade its strikes, you can also step on the blue parts to get your burn healed
For the most of time during the battle, the blazing enemy will be applying a dashing skill. To ensure you won't get hit by that, please keep the camera on him constantly, and don't stay in front of him. In anticipation of the dragon's movements and attack spots, was proved to be the most efficient method to dodge and strike him back later.
the Fire Dragon safe spot locations
Another skill you should be extra wary of is his massive fire breath. He'll be doing it in quick succession. Be careful of not getting burned due to recklessness. The ledge is a safe place to hide from this hit as always. Notice: Wait some more time before you decide to approach him after his breath attack, as the leftover flames are severely harmful.
Once his HP gets lower, especially lower than the half of the whole HP, he will be using these attacks in combination which leads us to Phase two. Be aware that the upcoming attacks are going to be much harder to avoid since there won't be a discernible pattern to follow. But all his moves are the duplicates of Phase one so it won't be too much of a problem dodging them. Be noted that there will be more skills added to the mix as his HP goes even lower
Aside from the attack combo, you should also watch out for his AOE stun attack. Thankfully, he doesn’t attack right after, so in case you get hit you won’t have to worry about an immediate follow-up. If you want to make the most of your time while avoiding this move, you can jump off the ledge or jump on the smaller platform where the faeries are. Finally, for the last part of the first stage, he’ll be shooting a laser beam. It’s mostly one-shot if you’re not a tank, there are some options to dodge this. Ranked by complexity, those dodges from easiest to hardest should be: slide into the available holes, climb up the pillar, or dash through the laser with precise timing.
Once you manage to deplete the Fire Dragon’s HP down to 20 million, the second part will commence. Other than the fire breath and fireballs you won’t be able to dodge (so we hope your priest has you covered), he’ll be using the same moves he did before—which should already be easy enough for you.
There you have it! Remember these do’s and don’ts when you take on the Fire Dragon. With them, it’s going to be much easier for you and your team to deal with this red-hot beast. Statistically, with everything prepared and unbeatable teamwork, the Fire Dragon will be completed within 6 minutes. So what are you waiting for? Challenge him with your friends!
The Fire Dragon is a formidable foe in MapleStory 2. With this essential guide, you can improve your chances when challenging it in a hot fight.
If you are not satisfied enough with the trophies and rewards you achieved from the Fire Dragon raid or any other raids, there is a special place for you to pay a visit and benefit from - MMOAH. The practical joker is known on Reddit as Zeiin. According to him, he received an email from Blizzard’s representatives asking him to take down the Playdiablo4.com website. Why so? Well, it’s not just because Diablo 4 isn’t even announced yet. It’s actually because clicking on the website’s URL redirects you to Path of Exile’s homepage!
Play Diablo 4? Really?
To be fair, the joke’s been around for quite some time. In all actuality, many in Path of Exile’s community are already aware of it. This, however, is the first time we’ve heard of Blizzard lodging a complaint. Blizzard’s lawyers spoke to Zeiin and asked him to take down the site. They even encouraged him to put it up for sale since he was cybersquatting.
To Blizzard’s credit, Zeiin mentioned that not once did he feel harassed or bullied in spite of the situation. In fact, Blizzard reps even admitted that they found the joke funny. The only problem is that even if it’s a joke, the URL redirected users to Diablo’s main competitor which is a big no-no.
Zeiin simply said that he’ll happily hand the website over to them on one condition — when it’s for something that falls under their trademark. That’s essentially hinting that Blizzard can have it free of charge once they’ve actually announced Diablo 4.
We probably don’t have to wait too long since a recent interview from Kotaku cites that Diablo 4 has been in development for some time already. A project, codenamed “Hades,” was supposed to be Diablo’s take on a “Souls-like” game (complete with an over-the-shoulder, third-person view). That ended up getting scrapped in 2016. Development was rebooted under the new codename “Fenris.”
For now, though, he’s changed the redirect to something else as per the suggestion of another Path of Exile Reddit user. It now sends internet surfers over to Google. Specifically, it’s a Google search for the word “phone.” It’s another running gag from the poorly received Diablo: Immortal announcement when Blizzard’s Wyatt Cheng asked the BlizzCon audience if they had any mobile phones.
For the first time in the Elder Scrolls franchise, the beautifully complex Argonian race is finally centred under the spotlight in the newest DLC for The Elder Scrolls Online. Murkmire, the most recent zone DLC, offers a rich delve into the culture of the Argonians — a marginalized, misunderstood and mistreated reptilian people native to the lands of Black Marsh. Murkmire has quickly become my favourite ESO zone to date due to its excellent execution of showing the harsh swamp environment of the Argonians to be just as beautiful and misunderstood as they are.
The land of Murkmire can be accessed by travelling directly there via Wayshrines once the DLC has been unlocked or purchased. It is apparent almost immediately that this land distinguishes itself from ones we have seen before: it is not conventionally pretty or appealing. It is not a place that players and lovers of fantasy would initially beg to find themselves the way they typically do with the more objectively beautiful places such as Summerset. Its swampy, humid environment teems with dangerous flora and fauna, yet still presents itself in a surprisingly attractive light.
I found it easy to fall in love with the world. I originally had low expectations for the visual appeal of a place themed around marshes, but many of its regions burst with colourful plants and shrouded temples, giving it a really unique, subtropical charm. There are tons of tribal elements built into the Argonian culture — ancient religious artefacts and shamanic connections with the trees, to name a few — that just feels different from previous races we’ve come to know in the Elder Scrolls. Many of the quests funnel us through temples that give strong Indiana Jones: Raiders of the Lost Ark vibes, and exploration through the mysteriously exotic land truly makes you feel like you’re on an adventure rather than just being told you’re on one.
Journals and books are scattered everywhere in Murkmire, and it is worth your time to slow down and flip through them when you get the chance. Previously, we’ve known very little about the Argonians and have seldom seen them in a light where they haven’t been completely subjugated or pushed to the corners of society. The lore around the world of Murkmire thus becomes invaluable — this truly is the first opportunity we’ve gotten to dive deep into this culture, and it is very worth taking advantage of.
In terms of content, Murkmire is a pretty great deal for loyal ESO players, as it comes as a daily reward in the month of November for dedicated players who log in every day of the month, or as free DLC for ESO Plus members. For casual players, the price is 2,000 crowns, or a little more than $20, which is highly worth the purchase on the condition that you have a keen interest in Elder Scrolls lore. There are tons of new weapon sets that can be unlocked in quests or in the arena, two new delves, and a new arena map called Blackrose Prison.
While it is disappointing that there are no new public or private dungeons and therefore no real way to queue up for a cooperative group activity in this world, this zone is simply more tailored for individual adventurers who will find no shortage of standard quests. If taking your time to read the endless amounts of dialogue and texts isn’t your cup of tea, then the DLC offers little more than a nice new area to do more of the same quests in, and unfortunately I don’t see much draw for the brand new player or the player who rarely logs into the game.
I found myself very pleasantly surprised about the Murkmire DLC and loved it so much that I think it could have easily stood alone as a chapter had it been given more content. I would not build up expectations about what the DLC brings to the table: it is not a new chapter, simply a new zone, and this is what it excels in being. The world feels incredibly alive, with reptiles like crocodiles and lizards scuttling around everywhere in sight and plants giving off toxic gases should you get too close in proximity. The unique integration of a highly tribal, ancient-jungle-meets-swamp world into a game that most typically displays elements of traditional fantasy is done masterfully, and I would recommend any hardcore Elder Scrolls fan to lose themselves in its strangeness and beauty. It will not offer you any new gameplay mechanics, unique quest activities or even a new dungeon, and this is where I find that the ESO DLCs truly have room to grow. Until then, we’ll have to settle in and enjoy the exploration and tireless grinding that this new zone greatly encourages.

When the Betrayal content expansion launches in Path of Exile in December, it's coming with a new "unified hideout" system that has a lot of players excited. In the intervening week since Betrayal was announced, players have asked a lot of questions about the new feature and GGG devs have taken the time to answer over a dozen covering a wide array of topics.

Grinding Gear Games has announced a release date for a new major expansion for the critically acclaimed hack'and'slash Path of Exile called Betrayal. This brand new content is coming on December 15, 2018, for PC and Xbox One, with the PlayStation 4 version still in the works, set for late 2018, introducing a mysterious (and probably villainous) organization known as The Immortal Syndicate.
According to the studio, The Syndicate has four divisions, each with its own goals: Fortification, Transportation, Research and Intervention. The player will encounter a powerful Syndicate member in each area, as other members can show up to aid their friends or sabotage their enemies. In a true RPG fashion, when the battle is complete, you must decide how to continue your investigation.
Your main goal is simple - gaining intelligence leading to the captains of each division. You will have a chance to raid their safehouses to pillage their supplies and uncover the ultimate identity of The Immortal Syndicate's mastermind who is ruthlessly rising the dead. Grinding Gear Games has released a brand new trailer for Path of Exile: Betrayal that showcases the game's features, so take a look:
In Path of Exile: Betrayal, Jun Ortoi is investigating a mysterious organisation known as the Immortal Syndicate. Help her to manipulate their ranks, reveal the identities of their members, uncover their safehouses and take down their mastermind.

More details on that will be revealed tomorrow.

Path of Exile: Betrayal is shaping up to be the biggest expansion yet for Grinding Gear Games’ ARPG. The secretive Immortal Syndicate, revamped Masters system, returning favourites, new skills, and more are sure to keep fans excited. What led to these changes and new features, though? Perhaps the best person that could answer that is none other than Path of Exile co-creator Chris Wilson, whom I spoke with prior to Betrayal‘s announcement.
I should note that it would be better to read our full preview of Path of Exile: Betrayal first to gain an understanding of what the new content and mechanics entail.
The conversation started out quite pleasantly, with Wilson even jokingly apologizing since Path of Exile: Betrayal‘s announcement would happen at 4:00 AM here in the Philippines. We then got to the meat of the discussion about Betrayal, as well as questions in general about the game. I was also able to ask a few questions sent by some players from Path of Exile‘s subreddit.
Since this is a massive (I’m not joking), in-depth interview, I’ve divided it into two parts. The first deals with all the details you’d want to know about Betrayal. The other looks at questions about the game in general, as well as those sent in by other players. I’ve also decided to include additional Betrayal gameplay clips that were provided.
