Fallout 76: The Best Locations To Set Up Your CAMP

In Fallout 76, one of the key factors for effective gameplay is to find an ideal place to build your CAMP. Strategically setting up the main base can completely change the gameplay, so MMOAH lists the best locations for you to choose.

How to make a good CAMP?

Safety. In the post-apocalyptic era, you will want to establish a favorable position to protect your CAMP from falling into the local mobs.

Fast Travel. This is one of the additional benefits of establishing a CAMP. Remember to use the principles of other fast travel points to establish an effective fast travel network.

Resources. Utilizing old or abandoned buildings in your CAMP is very effective, cost-effective, and provides a creative vision for a unique base. Strategically placing valuable resource mines or rich hunting near your camp is always a good tactic.

Central locations. This is important for players who want to trade with vendors. It can have a convenient storage point to drop loot after questing.

Water. It provides a simple source of water purification, but also a natural defense against most enemies.

Even Terrain. It is rare in all of the splendor and glory of West Virginia.

The best campsites

Gilman Lumber Mill

It is located in the Appalachian forest area, which means that safety is not a big issue. One advantage is that there is a free and readily available wood supply, thanks to the old mill robots still going about their daily routine of piling the scattered logs.

Lakeside Grill

It is located in the Toxic Valley and it not only has water sources but also a lot of lootable. You will need to deal with the local Snallygasters and Ghouls regularly trying to regain their stomping ground.

Morgantown Trainyard

Just west of the train station, along the river is a very advantageous location, you can easily get water, there are vendors at the station and an extra stash chest for sorting and selling garbage. Mama Dolce’s Food Processing plant and Gorge Junkyard are nearby sources of loot.

The Raider Shack

Its cliff position gives it enough coverage, so you only need to defend from one side. This is also a good location to get a jumpstart at your CAMP crafting location, and provides several other amenities:

* Tinkers Bench

* Cooking Pot

* Raider loot

* Bed

Seneca Rock Bridge

Located in Seneca Rocks, between Pleasant Valley Cabins and Atlas Observatory, it is an unstable residential choice. Because this elevated location provides minimal access, it is well protected.

Mole Miner Tunnel

There is a hilltop in Savage Divide, next to the near Mole Miner Tunnel. This is the perfect campsite. In addition to the conveniently located trainyard and the advantages of high ground, this land also includes a lead deposit, where you can set up an extractor.

Tyler Country Dirt Track

The Tyler Country Dirt Track in the forest area is an excellent place to provide water and aluminum deposits.

Watoga

East of the El-B1-02 Relay Tower outside of Watoga, there is a hidden cliff. It is a place with good natural protection.

Whithespring Golf Course

Golf courses can provide a safety measure, and AI patrols the ground to defend against enemies. In addition, Whitespring is a very profitable area to farm late-game supplies.

As for the Fallout 76 Bottle Caps needed in the game, you can also buy them from MMOAH. Enough Caps can let you get smoothly in the game.
