ACNH: How The DLC Vacation Home Planning Job Works?

ACNH will introduce the first paid DLC - Happy Home Paradise, and you will become a new exclusive home designer. This is not to build on your island, but to design vacation homes for islanders, so learning to successfully put together each villager’s dream theme is crucial.

You will work with Lottie and her assistant Niko and Wardell to create an immersive experience using various ACNH Items. Once completed, you will get the hotel currency - Poki, which you can exchange for furniture and other items, and bring back to your island to surprise the villagers.

How to start working in Happy Home Paradise?

You need to talk to Orville at Dodo Airlines and head to Lottie's resort. After Lottie introduces himself and the role of the designer, you will walk through the entrance of the resort to look for potential applicants. You need to interview the islanders to see what kind of decoration they want, choose an island from the island chain, and then visit the house to start indoor and outdoor decoration.

To build islanders’ vacation homes

After you choose the location, you need to keep the furniture out of the home that is themed for the desires of islanders. Some specific themes have been shown in the trailer, such as mushrooms, arcades, bears, ACNH Bells, and space. Each one has some necessary home furniture and put them somewhere in the room. In addition, you have to build houses based on specific themes to meet the needs of the villagers.

To design resort facilities

In addition to houses, there are plenty of facilities and public spaces, from schools to hospitals to restaurants, each with unique furniture and wallpaper. You can completely control where the items are placed. Once done, multiple residents will appear and interact with the displayed scenery, which means that new dialogue boxes and animations will occur based on the space you have designed.

Buy items from Lottie’s shop with Poki

Poki is a special currency that can only be used to purchase items at the resort. After you finish a job, Lottie will compensate you with this new currency. When you browse the lobby, there will be small stands housing rare items, which can only be purchased with Poki.

Once the new content is available, you can come to MMOAH to view related articles or purchase any items or currency you need. Now the new content that players are looking forward to is coming soon, which may bring players a brand new gaming experience.
