FFXIV: How To Get The Magitek Predator Identification Key?
In FFIXV, piloting a two-legged machine to roam in Eorzea is very cool. Through Moogle Treasure Trove: the Hunt for Esoterics event, you can obtain the Magitek Predator Identification Key, which can be used to unlock the Magitek Predator mount in FFXIV. This event will only last until the first part of Patch 5.5 on April 13, so if you want to get it, you need to act quickly.
How to get it?
50 Irregular Tombstones
To get the Magitek Predator Identification Key, you need 50 Irregular Tombstones of Esoterics. You can complete specific duties which are tied to the Moogle Treasure Trove event.
A Moogle symbol will appear next to the duties contained in the event. You need to complete these duties with a whole team, otherwise, you will not get Irregular Tombstones of Esoterics.
An Itinerant Moogle
After you get 50 Irregular Tombstones of Esoterics, you need to find an Itinerant Moogle NPC to exchange your Tombstones to get the Magitek Predator Identification Key. In FFXIV, there are three Itinerant Moogle NPCs, one for each city.
* One in Limsa Lominsa Lower Decks at X:9.4 Y:11.6
* One in New Gridania at X:12.4 Y:12.1
* One in Ul’dah, Steps of Nald at X:9.6 Y:9.1
Once you find any one of the three Itinerant Moogle NPCs, you can talk to them and exchange your 50 Irregular Tombstones of Esoterics for Magitek Predator Identification Key. You can only get Irregular Tombstones of Esoterics before April 13, and they can be exchanged before the 6.0 patch.
