Final Fantasy XIV Patch 5.05: Savage Difficulty Eden Raid, Rework And Dungeons Of Lyhe Ghiah

There is light, there is shadow, where the Warrior of Darkness exists in Final Fantasy XIV Shadowbringers, we have taken a look at the appearance of Warrior of Darkness as a hero for the first time and have started an adventure beyond the world. Although the entire gameplay was built around the dungeon, recently Patch 5.05 brought us an additional Savage-tier version of the Eden raid along with a set of long-awaited buffs and reworks focusing most notably on three jobs in particular: Astrologian, Samurai and Monk.

During Patch 5.01, we have met the normal-difficulty version of the Eden raid and had a basic understanding about it. But this time, the players have to complete more difficult challenges and quests in order to get access to Eden's Gate. In return, additional rewards including a surplus of new tomestone gear are increased for the Warrior of Darkness, which are aggressively darkness-themed and will likely make for a popular glamor choice in the future.

Astrologian is the job which has the most change in rework, the past popular job has become a lot less useful and cast times are getting reduced across a wide array of abilities while the potency is getting upped for many of its healing spells. Overall, it is more powerful than ever.

Samurai also gets some changes in cast time, as well as a longer Meditate and shorter recast time on Meikyo Shisui for the rework.

As for Monk, we may only see some subtle changes, which are different from the above two jobs, major of the changes are mainly placed on the cast time, such as the duration across Opo-Opo, Raptor and Coeurl forms are increased to 15 seconds as well as Mantra's up to 15 yalms.

In the past few weeks, the Warrior of Darkness may need to fight through some dungeons alone, but a new dungeon is added in the new patch, Dungeons of Lyhe Ghiah, where the players can form an eight-player team with other 7 players and explore new dungeons. After completing the challenges, they will also receive some rare and valuable rewards.

Incidentally, we are allowed to take a look at the yearly Moonfire Faire seasonal event on August 7 of Final Fantasy XIV, which is also a best chance to earn additional rewards. The further information will be released in the coming days, stay tuned please.
