Final Fantasy XIV Housing Crisis Not Mentioned In Patch 5.1

While you are still happy to expect Final Fantasy XIV dropping Patch 5.1 with new content, quite a few players are concerning the issue that they have no place to live, hold the items, so they become homeless. By now, not all players can find a place to live in the land of Eorzea, at least half of them can't be done.

Since Final Fantasy XIV attracted countless consumers on an international scale during its development, it must be acknowledged that we all have a very happy time in Eorzea with near-perfect crafting, flexible characters and dungeons full of challenges and excitement, but all is going wrong recently, until someone discovered a terrible truth. The amount of homeless in Final Fantasy XIV has never as high as it is now. Perhaps you can see that many people have no place to change clothes, bath, while they are suffering a huge housing crisis at the same time embarrassing. If you are lucky enough now, there is a place to accommodate your heavy equipment and other personal living activities, but it is likely to be taken away by the richer later.

Because of this, some immoral behaviors are common through Eorzea, such as the adventurers brazenly undressing and redressing in public, what's more, the homeless have to carry their backpacks weigh hundreds of pounds with themselves, which seriously hurts their back.

A long time ago, they were expecting Square Enix to improve the housing crisis through Patch 5.1, but it is clear that it did not do so now, which is very disappointing. The housing crisis has affected the health of the citizens of Eorzea, and it would be getting worse and worse.

Put it simply, the housing setting in Final Fantasy XIV is limited, so not everyone is allowed to acquire the housing, but for those who have the strength, they can always occupy more than one house, and then sell the extra houses with much higher price to others, which would easily result in that the rich are richer, but the poor even can't pay for a housing.

Although all the housing in Final Fantasy XIV are virtual spaces, everything the players have has to be placed in a fixed place according to the player system, that is a personal housing, that being said, if the players can not get one, then they can even find a suitable place for these virtual equipment.

With the upcoming Patch 5.1, we can notice lots of new content, like new challenges and system, except the housing issue, this might be taken note by Square Enix at some time in the future to save the homeless. And the Patch 5.1, Vows of Virtue, Deeds of Cruelty, is still worth looking forward to, it is coming late October, so stay tuned.

FFXIV Gil is the virtual currency in the game, and it will make you not one of those who are homeless, and slow down temporarily the housing crisis. You can use Gil to buy food, equipment and even housing to make your character stronger.
