FIFA 18 World Cup mode COUNTDOWN: Release date, time for FREE Xbox One, PS4 update

FIFA 18's World Cup 2018 game mode is going to be released for PS4, Xbox One, PC and Nintendo Switch.

The free World Cup 2018 update carries a May 29 release date for PC and consoles.

There's no official release time, but EA Sports carries a tendency to drop big FIFA 18 updates at 6pm UK time.

Unfortunately for mobile users, the FIFA 18 World Cup mode will not available until June 6.

The FIFA 18 World Cup expansion features all 32 teams, along with new stadiums, match balls and in some cases the official trophy.

As EA Sports shows, every one of the new content will likely be rendered from the game's Frostbite Engine the first time.

There's a good variety of new FIFA Ultimate Team cards, including legendary players and new items.

"Play FIFA's hottest mode from the new, exciting FIFA World Cup Ultimate Team experience," reads an EA Sports article.

"Build your favorite luxury international squad with stars of all 32 qualified nations with dynamic player items in connection with the real-world tournament, plus legendary FIFA World Cup ICONS."

The FIFA 18 World Cup update also adds 17 teams that didn't qualify with the tournament.

This includes Northern Ireland, Scotland, Republic of Ireland and Wales, in addition to Italy, Netherlands, USA, Chile and Czech Republic.

These teams will only be playable in select game modes, including Custom Tournaments and Friendly Seasons.

In the get to the FIFA 18 World Cup 2018 update, EA Sports has revealed player ratings for qualified nations.

Unsurprisingly, through an overall rating of 87, it's Harry Kane which leads the way for England.

The Dark Portal has become opened, the Third War looms, the Lich King is established, plus the Old Gods continue their millennial-long plots.

Keen Lorehounds will know that this means the 3rd entry begins within the universe originally offered to players. That’d could well be players in the real-time strategy variety. Yes, we’re talking Warcraft II and Warcraft III. Nothing is altered on the previous two installments. Readers receive a thumbnail review of plots points that could span entire novels with occasional concept art included. The balance of breadth and depth isn’t always on par using the weight on the topic. For example, the attempted return on the Amani and various other antagonistic troll clans receive a subsection, rather than a full description. Other times, evidently Horde or Alliance are receiving a better presentation. Nit picky critiques at best.

Perhaps one of the most jarring consider the retellings is when the instances of Horde and Alliance are retold due to the entry of Adventurers (read players) into much of this volume. First, despite performing many from the feats of Warcraft II and III lore ourselves, we’re not captured within the lore. This is because we had been acting as the storied heroes. Already own, Volume 1 and a couple? Then you’re pot committed, you are unable to refuse this excellent tome of info from Dark Horse and Blizzard. If you haven’t invested yet then, frankly, you’re not actually into lore. Or you hate reading. I’m uncertain how that may be possible, nevertheless, you clearly found an easy method if you’ve overlooked these consolidations thus far.

She took place through a campaign by fans to generate a female Trade Prince for World of Warcraft: Cataclysm, and grew after that. A nearly 400-page thread developed about the official forums, and also a Facebook group, plus an official RP guild called For Her Tallest.

A little too driven by revenge, when she eventually defeats her enemy - Illidan - she realises she hasn't got much else left in their life, turning the climate tragic, yet it's not long before she's more demons to push back.

Exarch Yrel

The story behind Exarch Yrel's rise to power is usually a satisfying if bleak tale. Starting out to be a naive young priestess, a brutal experience using the iron Horde, brings about her learning to be a paladin and ruling in the draenei.

By the process, she became one from the main protagonists of Warlords of Draenor, being linked to pretty much every element with the expansion's storyline. It's a little cliched how she's expected to become strong and difficult, but forget about so compared to average coming-of-age tale in a great number of other great series.

Iridi
