Genshin Impact 4.8 Is Coming! - New Characters & New Events Genshin Impact 4.8 Is Coming! - New Characters & New Events

After some thrilling adventures in Fontaine, Genshin Impact 4.8 will be released on July 17. This is also the last update expected before Version 5.0 is released, so Natlan will enter the playable area of the current Teyvat map.

Because the national launch is the most important upcoming content, players will still have to wait for a while before they can explore Natlan in Genshin Impact. In this update, there are many new things, such as Summertide Scales and Tales event, some new permanent game mode Envisaged Echoes, and some general quality-of-life updates.

I’m sure you can’t wait for the release of version 4.8, so get your Genshin Impact Accounts ready and take a look at this guide for detailed introductions to new characters, new banners, and new event.

Genshin Impact 4.8 Is Coming! - New Characters & New Events

New Characters & Banners

As previously hinted at by the introduction of only one new character, Version 4.8 will introduce only one new playable unit. The remaining 5-star units introduced during the update will be re-introduced, and all 4-star units with increased drop rates have been available in the game for some time.

As previously predicted in Genshin Impact 4.8 character banner leak, the Phase 1 banner will consist of the re-introduction of Navia and Nilou. The 5-star Geo DPS unit and 5-star Hydro sub-DPS character will be available in the gacha system from July 17th to August 6th, respectively.

Genshin Impact Navia And Nilou

Each weapon will also be featured on a weapon banner during the same period, giving players a chance to get their own exclusive gear. Phase 2 will begin on August 6th, with a change in featured characters. During that time, Yelan will be a returning character on one banner.

The 5-star Hydro sub DPS will return along with the debut of Emilie, who was confirmed by HoYoverse a few weeks ago. Currently, Dendro character is confirmed to be a 5-star unit that will appear on a dedicated character banner in Phase 2.

This means that Emily and Yelan will be available from August 6th until August 27th.

As previously leaked, Emily’s skill composition in Genshin Impact allows her to act as a Dendro sub-DPS that enhances the power of Burning Elemental Reaction. The character excels in off-field Dendro applications and works best when paired with a strong Pyro DPS who activates Burning, such as Hu Tao, Linny, or Arlecchino.

Version 4.8 livestream also confirmed that Emily will use a polearm in combat. In Phase 2, Yelan’s Aqua Simulacra and Emily’s new Lumidous Elegy will be available in the weapon banner. The 4-star characters that will have increased drop rates in the Phase 1 and Phase 2 character banners have yet to be announced.

Emily’s value as a Dendro sub DPS has yet to be effectively proven as more players are actively testing it, but the banner structure in Version 4.8 is one chance. Navia is currently one of the best Geo DPS characters, especially for players who have good Geo sub DPS like Kiori and Albedo.

Nilu can be a good Hydro sub DPS, but Yelan holds the throne as the best in this category and is arguably the best off-field damage dealer among all characters. However, she mostly relies on elemental burst in Genshin Impact.

New Events

In addition to Emily, a new playable unit whose Burning Reactions will be at the forefront of team compositions, and the prospect of obtaining older characters and their weapons, Version 4.8 will bring additional playable content as events.

The most important is Summer Flagship Event, Summer Tide Scales and Tales, in which players will travel to a new limited-time map called Simulanka and take part in new story quests and various activities. The special flagship event will also feature two new outfits for Genshin Impact’s Nilu and Kilala.

Genshin Impact Summer Tide Scales and Tales

Nilow’s skin will be featured in the event but will be sold as a premium item in the store. Participating in the event will also give you the new Kirara skin for free. In fact, a free version of Kirara will also be given away during special events. The flagship event, Summertide Scales and Tales, will offer a ton of rewards, including various materials and Primogems.

Envisaged Echoes will be a new update within Imaginarium Theater and will be considered a new permanent game mode. Activity challenges must be unlocked with regular Imaginarium Theater keys, and once completed, players will unlock a new character trail that follows a specific character.

During the special challenge, players will take control of each character they want to unlock cosmetics for. Diluc, Jean, Qiqi, Ningguang, and Kirara are characters that are confirmed to be getting trails in Genshin Impact.

Several other limited-time events will also be held, including Bing-Bang Finchball, Outside the Canvas, Inside the Lens: Dew-Kissed Chapter, Energy Amplifier: Lemma, and Overflowing Mastery.

In addition to the event, HoYoverse announced several qualities of life (QoL) updates that will be included in Version 4.8. Most of them have been rushed out. One of them is a Hide UI feature that allows players to remove items.

Additionally, world bosses that are not in Trounce Domains will start recovering faster, with their 5-minute cooldown reduced to just 10 seconds. This allows players to conquer the world. You can now easily defeat Genshin bosses without having to wait too long.

The encounter point system will also be enhanced. Long-term encounter points can be saved and used to supplement daily encounter points by using resin. A conversation review feature has also been added, allowing players to review what was said during a conversation.

Overall, the principal attraction of the patch is Summer Event, but it will be natural for the game to slow down before the release of Genshin Impact’s Natlan, scheduled for later this year.

Are these new events exciting for you? Then let’s look forward to the official release of Genshin Impact 4.8 on July 17!

A Comprehensive Guide To Chevreuse In Genshin Impact - Artifacts , Weapons & Teams A Comprehensive Guide To Chevreuse In Genshin Impact - Artifacts , Weapons & Teams

Chevreuse is the captain of the special protection patrol of the Court of Fontaine and the new 4-star Pyro character that uses her Polearm and Musket to hunt down criminals. In this guide, I'll break down everything we need to know about Chevreuse, including her kit, artifacts, weapons, best teams, Constellations, and even her Ascension Materials. let's just get to it!

If you want to quickly experience this new character, you can directly purchase a Genshin Impact Accounts with Chevreuse.

A Comprehensive Guide To Chevreuse In Genshin Impact - Artifacts , Weapons & Teams

Introduction

Chevreuse is an HP-scaling healer with her kit revolving around healing and buffing the damage of an overload team. Her role is limited to supporting teams utilizing Pyro and Electro characters. So, when Chevreuse is in the team with either an Electro or Pyro character, triggering the overloaded reaction will cause opponents' Pyro and Electro resistance to decrease to a maximum of 40%.

Using her Elemental skill, Chevreuse will shoot at the enemy, dealing Pyro damage charged with energy and healing the active character for a significant amount over some time. Triggering Overload will give Chevreuse an Overcharged Ball. Using the hold skill, while you have an Overcharged Ball, Chevreuse fires an overcharged round to deal higher Pyro damage over a larger AOE and increase the attack of Pyro and Electro characters. During her Elemental burst, she fires an explosive shot, which will split into secondary bombs that explode on impact.

As for her passive talent, when Chevreuse is in the party, the stamina consumption will decrease. When leveling up her talents, we should give priority to her Elemental Skill first, then Elemental burst, and lastly her normal attacks. Though it’s better to leave her normal attacks at Level 1 because you won’t need it.

Artifacts

Picking a good artifact set for her will be an easy task. Obviously, our first choice will be Song of Days Past. This artifact set will give Chevreuse 15% healing bonus and will provide the team with a damage bonus based on the amount of healing they get.

The second choice is 4 pieces of Ocean-Hued Clam. This artifact set will give Chevreuse 15% healing as well and will deal damage to nearby enemies based on the amount of heal Chevreuse deals to the party member.

Our last choice is 4 pieces of Noblesse Oblige. It will boost her burst damage, but that's not what we are after, since she can't deal good damage. After all, she's not a DPS character. But her burst with this artifact set will boost the team's damage by 20% for 12 seconds.

As for the main Stats, it's best to go full HP percent, as I said. Chevreuse scales off HP, and her fourth Ascension Passive grants an attack buff to Pyro and Electro characters based on her Max HP. Shoes will boost Electro and Pyro characters with 1% for every 1K HP she has, to a Max of 40%. That's why she requires reaching 40,000 HP. After all, a 40% damage boost for the entire team is quite the advantage. As for the substats, focus on HP% and energy recharge.

Genshin Impact Chevreuse

Weapons

Moving on to the best weapons that can suit her, let's start with 5-star options. Though it's rare that anyone will give her a 5-star Polearm, rather than giving it to a 5-star character. The best 5-star Polearm for her is Staff of Homa, since it provides an HP bonus and attack bonus based on wielder Max HP. The second choice is Skyward Spine.

As for 4-star weapons, the best choice is the Favonius Lance. It has energy recharge substats and provides extra energy recharge with its passive. But you need to have at least 30% crit rate to take advantage of that passive. The second best choice is the Crescent Pike. This Polearm provides both HP and energy recharge and can be easily obtained by forging it at the blacksmith.

The third and last choice is Black Tassel, which provides huge HP stats, but it's still a 3-star Polearm and doesn't have a good passive. So, use it as a last resort.

Best Teams

Team comps, obviously, Chevreuse's team must be an overload team, so all the Pyro and Electro characters are welcome. But if we want to get the best of her, then 2 Electro and 1 Pyro character with her can make a very good team. We can run her with Raiden as sub DPS, Yomiya as main DPS, and Kujo Sara. We can replace Raiden with Yae Miko, same for Yomiya, we can use Lyney.

As for Kuo Sarah, we can replace her with Bennett or Duraldal. But if you are a low AR player and do not have many characters, this F2P-friendly team can get the job done. Fall damage can be your support and Slingshot your sub DPS, while you can use Lisa as your main DPS.

Constellations

Finally, we got to her Constellations. Apparently, her Constellations don't add that much to her gameplay. Her C1 gives 6 energy once every 10 seconds when a character triggers an overload reaction. Her C2 will add 2 instances of damage in her skill, but we aren't playing Chevreuse for her damage, so this one isn't an important Constellation.

Her C3 and C5 will increase the skill and talent by 3 levels, while her C4 will prevent her skill from entering cooldown after using burst until using 2 held shot shots or 6 seconds have passed. So, this Constellation will give her the chance to double use her skill, which will add a bit to the amount of damage that she will deal, but that's not important. What's important is that she will have a second chance to heal.

Lastly, her C6, this constellation will heal the party members by 10% of Chevreuse's Max HP after the healing from her skill ends and will provide a 20% Electro and Pyro boost for a maximum of 3 stacks. This is definitely her best Constellation, making her the best support character for overload teams.

Ascension Materials

You intend to pull and build her, so here's the essential materials that you need to level her up to Level 90, and here are the materials that you need to max level up her talents. But just like I said, it's better to leave her normal attack at Level 1 since you won't use it anyway.

Raiden Shogun Will Back to 3.3 Version in Genshin Imapct

Surrounding the Wish Banner for Genshin Impact 3.3, which character will return is the most exciting content. According to some leakers, the first half of version 3.3 will go to the Wanderer andArataki Itto. The Geo DPS's last rerun was just a few updates ago, in Genshin Impact 2.7. In this version, he was involved in the Chasm-related quests alongside Yelan and Xiao, who also had limited-time Wish Banners, so perhaps he'll also appear in the new content of version 3.3.

As for Phase 2 of update 3.3, the Raiden Shogun and Kamisato Ayato will be getting reruns, making the Wish Banner cycle of Genshin Impact 3.3 an Inazuma-based 5-Star showcase. The Raiden Shogun of Genshin Impact remains one of the most popular characters due to her DPS ability and outstanding look. Meanwhile, Ayato is a powerful Hydro DPS that would slot well into a Hyperbloom team. If you do not have the proper characters in your team,  Genshin Impact Accounts here could be one of your best choices for the future adventure.

2Raiden Shogun Will Back to 3.3 Version in Genshin Imapct

On the other hand, there are already leaks surrounding the upcoming quest-related content of Genshin Impact 3.3 as well. As noted earlier, it looks like a new limited-time event does, involve Arataki Itto, as well as Shikanoin Heizou. The event is known as Akitsu Kimodameshi, with the second term referring to a test of courage in the Japanese context. Information from a known leaks site suggests that the event will involve catching yokai or supernatural entities in Japanese/Inazuman folklore.

Meanwhile, another leaker, shares that update 3.3 will come with the Sumeru Interlude Quests and the Wanderer's Story Quest, which explains the Raiden Shogun's return. Leaks hint that notable characters like Genshin Impact's Nahida, Dottore, and even Signora will appear in Scaramouche's Story Quest. Finally, there will be other miscellaneous events, such as a rerun of the Windtrace event, a Misty Dungeon rerun, and an overworld balloon-collecting event.

Finally, the upcoming update will be introducing new weapons and artifacts, no doubt to cater to the Wanderer's kit. The new Genshin Impact 3.3 weapons include the 5-Star catalyst Alaya for Anemo DPS characters, and the 4-Star sword Kasabouzo, which will reportedly be rewarded to the player upon completion of Itto and Heizou's event.

As for the two new Genshin Impact artifact sets for version 3.3, they seem suited for Anemo and Dendro units, respectively. The Anemo set is an alternative to the Viridescent Venerer as its four-piece bonus increases Normal, Charged, and Plunging damage rather than just Swirl damage. On the other hand, the Dendro set caters specifically to units in Bloom-focused teams as the increases Elemental Mastery and bolsters all Bloom damage.

Everything You Have to Know before Pulling Nahida in Genshin Impact

There's a lot of hype surrounding Nahida in Genshin Impact since this little cute girl released, but I think it wouldn't hurt to first understand some of the good and crucial things about her.  So today I would like to do a quick introductions on Nahida and discuss whether pulling her or not.

Everything You Have to Know before Pulling Nahida in Genshin Impact1

First of all, I think it's pretty clear by now that there's barely any Dendro units in the game, most of us who build meta team comps rely on Dendro Traveler, some go for Collei, but at the end of the day, the reason why this is happening is mostly due to how precious Dendro application is for a lot of the new teams.

So what I saw during the livestream is that Nahida not only has fast Normal Attacks but also her skill can mark the enemies and deal Dendro damage by causing reactions even when she's off-field. Obviously, it's important to acknowledge things like ICD and how long can she keep the enemies marked because if let's say, her skill can remain a long while, then Nahida is going to be a pretty awesome enabler for Cyno, since right now, the only character that can provide somewhat consistent Dendro application, is Dendro Traveler but the main problem for Cyno is that the enemies needs to stay in the Traveler's burst field for him to cause Quicken reactions.

However, with Nahida, it seems like you just hold down her skill, mark the enemies and you're good to go, that already seems insane to me. I mean if that's not enough, her entire burst is focused around boosting her skill damage, interval and or length, which I won't talk too much about it but just understand that this will be her core playstyle mechanic that will be utilized in every team you're building.

But speaking about her skill's duration, power and how easy it is to attack with, what about her Dendro application? Well, it's not clear yet but even going with the usual assumption that Catalyst User's charged attack has no ICD, she could effortlessly become crazy good Dendro on-field applicator, like Sucrose for example.

In fact, even if her Normal Attacks have standard ICD, from the livestream they seemed pretty fast so maybe just relying on them will be enough since, you know, charged attacks eat up a lot of stamina, unless Nahida will have some sort of talents or constellations to help with that. Otherwise, if both of her on-field and off-field Dendro application prove to be reliable.

For those who wished for Nilou are going to be really happy about Nahida, because you can build an entirely F2P team comp with Nilou, if you do not have Nilou, you can check the Genshin Impact Accounts. But the thing is, Nahida in special Bloom team comps could preform much more better if Nahida would provide her Dendro application. So even without the damage multipliers or full info on her talents, I still can see a lot of potentials in Nahida.

Finally, one last thing worth talking about would be her Artifacts, if you're considering pre-farming, then my safest recommendation would be Deepwood Memories 4-set. Also you could go for Gilded Dreams, but that's assuming you're gonna give somebody else in the team the Deepwood set because otherwise, she will be missing out on a huge chunk of damage boost if the enemies are not losing their Dendro resistance. Thus the safest bet would be to just get Deepwood 4-set for Nahida.

On conlusion, I am very excited to see just how good Nahida will be because just from the livestream footage I can already feel she's going to have a ton of utility for many different teams, whether it's with new characters like Nilou or Cyno or you wanna build some new Hyperbloom or Burgeon team comps.

Guides and Tests on Cyno Team Builds in Genshin Impcat

Hey guys, today we are going to keep focusing on the new character Cyno in Genshin Impact, and give you some suggestions on team building.

Guides and Tests on Cyno Team Builds in Genshin Impcat1

Now for the team comps and builds I tested, I wanted to first make sure both Gilded Dreams and Thundering Fury were included because these were the most interesting to me. However, keep in mind he could also use something like Gladiator's Set or Thundersoother.

So the first team I tested was just a carbon copy of Keqing Aggravate, which was Dendro Traveler, Fischl and Kazuha. As long as the enemies were slow, big and not overly aggressive, it felt great to use White Tassel with Gilded Dreams, even if the VV Shred wore off mid-way during Cyno's burst but on the bright side, if the enemies get damaged by Traveler's burst, you can upkeep the Quicken aura on enemies during the whole Cyno's burst duration.

Still, I quickly ran into some problems with this team. Firstly even if Cyno's burst description states he gains resistance to interruption, it's still probably one of the worst ones I've seen. He easily gets knocked around, so it's not like he gains the same interruption resistance like Raiden, and maybe it's more like Ayato's probably even worse.

So after this, I asked Daddy Zhongli to protect my dear Cyno from world's harm. Zhongli's shield lasts for almost the whole Cyno's burst duration, so I could focus on just unleashing his combos.

Now another problem with doing this is that I had to make a tough decision, do I still want Anemo VV Shred or do I get another Electro to help out with Cyno's energy?

I chose to go with Sucrose this time but the rotations kind of got weird at some point, and I even was starting to question myself, is Anemo really worth it for Cyno? even if it massively improves his damage? Because I was constantly running into energy issues with Cyno, so I had to do weird things like use his normal skill just to gain those three particles, maybe feed some Favonius particles from Sucrose or Traveler, it wasn't a good sight.

So just keep in mind with this setup, if not going up against multiple enemies, all the damage will be coming only from Cyno.

Finally, I also wanted to give a try to good old Electro-charged team comp and overall, but Electro-charged wasn't that amazing with him. However, I did had the bright idea of turning Electro-charged into Hyperbloom / Aggravate comp, it's actually pretty awesome. Beidou unlike with Raiden, her burst actually works along with Cyno's, and since her burst lightning that jumps around does not trigger the Dendro Seeds, Cyno will most likely have at least 300 to 500 EM on him, so he will trigger Hyperblooms for pretty sizeable damage.

Overall, what do I think about this Anubis cosplayer? I like him a lot, he has a great fun factor built into him but I also cannot ignore some of the problems I ran into. I think my biggest gripe would be the absolutely pitiful resistance interruption he gains. Nobody enjoys getting knocked around when you just wanna unleash some cool combos with your shiny new 5-star. I really think he should of gained a better so called Super Armor, similar to Raiden's or Itto's when he is using charged attacks, because now I kind of just want to use Zhongli with him.
