As announced at FFXIV Fan Fest, a new data center will be opening in Oceania to provide players in Australia and New Zealand with new, more stable servers to join. According to the FFXIV website, the Oceania Data Center is planned to be installed in the 6.0 version and the Endwalker extended version, and Square Enix will subsequently prepare a new server or data center for the 7.0 version. Therefore, the new server may arrive around the end of 2022.
