In Fallout 76, if you want to have full power over Appalachia, you need to acquire nukes. Of course, obtaining such a devastating device is not simple. There are three main parts to find a way to launch a nuke:

First, you need to find Nuclear Code Fragments.

The collection of Nuclear Silo Code Fragments is usually randomly generated. You can obtain them by looting the corpses of Scorched Officers or Feral Ghoul Officers. Next, you have to access Silos

Once you have the code, you may still not be able to access Silos. This is because only high-ranking Generals are eligible to enter Silo's elevator. The best way to solve this problem is to join "The Enclave". This organization has military connections and they can help bypass security on different bases. You can find them in a secret bunker in The Mire, hidden in the Abandoned Waste Dump.

To officially join them, you need to solve puzzles and perform other tests. Once you become a part of The Enclave, you will only be a grunt and you need to level up to General before trying to enter a Silo. To level up, you can start at Camp McClintock's basic training and gradually improve by finishing missions and leveling up. The Enclave will also help decrypt weekly codes, allowing you to use printers to sort the letters. Leaving for a while, and then showing up later, it will show the code that has been deciphered.

Finally, before entering Silos, you need to make some preparations. There will be level 20 turrets to level 50 Mr. Gutsies, so you'd better bring heavy weapons and plenty of food. There will be a laser grid that can be turned off with Biometric ID cards.

The next area will consist of ripping out mainframe cores and fending off robots.

Finally, you need to find a way to enter the Control Room.

Once you enter the Control Room, you will be tasked with defending the chief robots, because they will rebuild the missiles. After completing these, you need to find the correct terminal and finalize the authorization. Just enter the nuclear key card and insert the weekly code deciphered by the collected code fragments.
