Final Fantasy XIV Released Patch 5.15, Updating Blue Mage And New Frontline Campaign

In July, the third expansion of Final Fantasy XIV was released with great success, and Square Enix has confirmed the release of Patch 5.15 yesterday, adding many new features to Final Fantasy XIV including updates to Blue mage and a new Frontline campaign. What's more, it will also fix some technical problems in the game. Here is the full content of Patch 5.15.

Blue Mage
With Patch 5.15, it adds a series of spells for the Blue Mage to learn, along with the extension of the job quests. And the level cap of Blue mage is increased to 60 with a log added, which allows you to form parties with other Blue mages and participate in specific duties.

You can get the Blue Mage log and add it to the Blue Magic Spellbook interface through completing the requisite quests. Once you meet the duty requirements of Blue Mage log, you’ll get rewarded including the Allied Seals and gil, and with huger rewards when completing duties for the first time.

Besides, the Blue Mage log entries would be marked every week with silver or gold star, designating them as weekly targets.

New Frontline campaign
PVP is the most common battle system in Final Fantasy XIV, and in the new Frontline Campaign map, Onsal Hakair and more in-game items are added with Patch 5.15, and players are required to capture areas of the map for gaining more points.
