PlayStation users are outraged at Sony’s lack of innovation when it comes to cross-platform play. After a recent update, Fortnite players are able to play on all platforms, including the Nintendo Switch. The only platform that refuses to allow cross-platform play is PlayStation. This means that gamers who bought their Battle Pass through the PlayStation Network won’t be able to take that progress to other game systems or play with their friends on a different platform. If you try to take your PlayStation Fortnite account to Xbox or Nintendo Switch, for instance, you’ll be prompted to make a brand new account, which completely wipes out all the time and money that you put into your Fortnite identity.
