EA has released its financials for the Q3 FY18 for your three months ending December 31st 2017.

The company posted overall revenues of $1.16 billion for that quarter, up just 0.96% year-on-year. Net loss to the quarter reached $186 million, a growth from its lack of just $1 million in Q3 FY17.

Digital bookings for the mobile division found $183 million, up 5.17% year-on-year. Actual revenue for that segment reached $166 million, a boost of 12% year-on-year.

Growth for your quarter was driven mostly by FIFA Mobile, which gained yet another 26 million players during Q3. It had reached 113 million players in Q2 FY18, suggesting its overall downloads now to utilise around 139 million.

EA didn't have much else to say of its existing mobile games. Star Wars: Galaxy of Heroes and The Sims FreePlay were mentioned as games which still engage their audiences.

Looking ahead, EA promises to release its currently soft-launched game The Sims Mobile in Q4 FY18. It also has plans for two main new mobile games according to "fan-favourite IP" a while in FY19.
